The National Youth Employment Coalition's Members Forum, "Sailing to Your Next Opportunity: Navigate Your Way to Success," held in San Diego, CA, was an informative convening with an impressive turnout of more than 110 attendees. This year, NYEC celebrated 20 years of providing annual meetings for its members to informally share ideas about topics impacting their organizations and the field at-large. Participants from around the country gathered downtown in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter to discuss building, supporting and sustaining opportunities for minority youth through practice, policy, and partnerships.
The annual Members Forum is a unique opportunity for NYEC members to develop and strengthen their work, their organizations, and inform practice in the overall youth services field. This member-driven, member-focused peer learning and networking event delivers valuable opportunities for participants to learn about initiatives and issues most significant to the success of their work.
